Freshman Matt Nelson was named Old Dominion Athletic Conference player of the week went 4-0 last week in singles and matched the perfect record in doubles at the team’s tournament in Hilton Head, S.C.

Emory & Henry’s men’s basketball squad finally grasped its first Old Dominion Athletic Conference win in dramatic fashion on Saturday, topping Hampden-Sydney by a score of 71-69. Terrance Grigg nailed a turn-around floater in the lane with 5.5 seconds remaining to give the Wasps the win.
