HELP Reaching Out To Community With Fish Rodeo, Golf Tourney
Highlands Educational Literacy Program is urging the people in the community to join them as they host a kid’s fish rodeo and golf tournament.
The Kid’s Fish Rodeo is set for Saturday, April 25 at Emory & Henry College Duck Pond. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Participants for the fish rodeo include kids ranging from the ages of twelve years and younger. Admission will be $5.00 for pre-registration and $10.00 for registration at the site.
Anybody who wants to sign up is urged to do so quickly due to the limited number of participants that the competition is taking. There will also be a limited number of loaner rods and reels that will be available for the competition.
HELP. is looking to make some big swings during its Golf Tournament. The event will start at 2 pm. on Saturday, June 27 and will be held at the Clear Creek Golf Course.
People of all ages are urged to participate in the golf tournament. The entry fee is $50.00 per player. The admission charge covers green fees, carts, lunch and prizes.
