Red Flags

Once again, red flags have swarmed the Emory & Henry campus.  The purpose of the Red Flag Campaign is to raise awareness of unhealthy relationships and promote the prevention of dating violence.  This awareness will have a positive effect in the long run. 

When I first saw posters on the walls of dorm rooms around campus identifying possible red flags in relationships, I simply thought they were very funny.  As time went on, however, I noticed that the quotes on the posters were things my own friends used to tell me about in their relationships.

I have gained an appreciation for the Red Flag Campaign because people go through these situations in their relationships daily and are encouraged to seek help and put an end to any type relationship abuse.  The Red Flag Campaign continues to have a lasting impact every year and contributes to the safety of individuals involved in abusive relationships.
